Until 2025 we held farm days at Sara’s farm: open-day picnics, private gatherings, chef’s tables and seasonal harvest days. A day outdoors between the vegetable fields and the fruit orchards, with people who cared about good food. Sara’s Organic Food is on pause, so nothing can be booked at the moment. Below is how a farm day worked, and the farm days we held.
Learning at the farm. We also ran educational programs for students of all ages, put together with teachers and parents, to show young people how food is grown and what it means to eat consciously.
If you opted for a catered experience, you do not need to bring anything. Food and drinks will be served by our team. If you are bringing your own food, make sure not to bring disposable plastic, please. Paper and bamboo/wood cutlery and plates/cups are allowed. We ask you to make this conscious effort for the environment.
Depending on the experience you booked, we will inform you of the catering options on the day. Most experiences include our famous, rural Egyptian breakfast with oven-baked fresh baladi bread, as well as hot and cold refreshments.
Most experiences will include a guided walk through our vegetable fields, and the fruit orchards (with or without harvesting, depending on the season). Everyone can meet our farm animals and feed them with berseem (which we provide). If you have young children in your group, they might wanna enjoy a donkey ride. The planting of seedlings will be another special activity, during your farm day.
At the end of your experience day, you will have the chance to buy straight from the source in our farmers market.

5- Berseem to feed the animals
Our open day picnic events happen on a monthly basis, amidst our organic vegetable and premium fruit plantations on Sara’s Organic Farm. and we announce about the upcoming picnic dates and details on our social media platforms.
